Bully Prevention and Recovery with Emotional Intelligence
We all have emotions but none of us are born knowing what our emotions are, where they come from nor how to deal with them.
Emotions are a form of communication; they have incredible intelligence with-in them. They are the reason behind everything we do in life, who we become, what we do, how we behave. They help us, guide us and talk to us. They also help us to tune into intuition, to keep us safe.Ignoring or supressing them does not help us, it harms us!
Anxiety, bullying, suicide and depression is on the rise. Children feel misunderstood, isolated, sad and alone and they don’t have a clue how to change it. But you can help them, this course and accompanying book will help you to understand emotions so that you can help them to understand and express theirs.
Developing a child's Emotional Intelligence gives them the ability to understand, regulate and validate their emotions, and gives them
the language to express it. Teaching these skills to a child from a young age, gives
them these skills for life.
Research has shown that 50% of our ability to learn is developed by the age of 4 and another 30% by the age of 8. This is why we believe that developing a child's Emotional Intelligence (EQ) during their early years will give them the life skills to understand themselves and give them the tools to deal with whatever comes their way
With this course, you will be able to teach children from 3 years old and upwards
How to help a child to
- become self-aware
- to identify, label and express their emotions
- to develop compassion and empathy for others
- to be assertive
- to communicate better
- to cope and deal with stress, anxiety, anger, sadness, depression, fear and worry
- to deal with adversity like bullying, conflict and confrontation
- to focus and concentrate
- to relax
- to improve sleep
- to deal with social challenges
- to be more mindful
- to make friends easier
- to build their confidence, self-esteem, self-value and self-worth
When children are equipped to deal with their own uncomfortable feelings as and when they happen, they are able to bounce back and get on with their lives. They get to have more fun, make friends easier, are able to focus better at school and get along better with others in general.
By the end of this course
- You will know how to develop a child's emotional intelligence.
- You will have a deeper understanding of human behaviour
- And you will know how personalities, temperaments and love languages make each person unique.
IQ gets them through school, EQ gets them through Life
